As part of their community service component, members of the Community Foundation for Delta County Youth Advisory Committee spent the afternoon picking up trash in Ludington Park around the beach house. Taking part in the cleanup were: from left, Dave Radloff (adult advisor), Crystal Hadel, Tom Conine, Jane Conine (CF staff), Ashley Beaudry, Alice Butch (adult advisor - kneeling), Ashley Thomas, Deb Millican (YAC coordinator), and Mikayla Depuydt. The YAC is a standing committee of the Community Foundation composed of youth ages 12-21 years from all school districts in Delta County. Members of the YAC learn about youth issues in Delta County, develop leadership and team work skills, review grant requests for youth projects and provide community service. The YAC is currently seeking new members from the Gladstone & Escanaba School Districts and the home school population.
