Reading around a campfire in front of a tent, above, was just one of the activities enjoyed by the first-grade students at the Cameron Elementary School in Gladstone during two fun-filled days at "Camp Skeeter." Other camping activities included investigating night crawlers, a boat regatta, a nature scavenger hunt, and making crafts.
