ESCANABA - An Escanaba man - found guilty this week of first-degree home invasion involving the theft of marijuana plants - will be sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court next month.
A jury found Andrew John Romashko, 23, of 226 N. 15th St., upper apartment, Escanaba, guilty of the felony after deliberating for less than three hours on Wednesday. Witness testimony and other evidence were presented during the trial, which began Tuesday in circuit court.
Romashko was arrested last year after he broke into the basement of a home on the 100 block of North 11th Street on Nov. 7, according to the complaint issued by Escanaba Public Safety.
