ST. PAUL, Minn. - Shirley M. Drossard, 77, of 907 East 4th Street, St. Paul, Minn. (formerly of Gladstone), passed away Tuesday evening, May 22, 2012, at the Woodlyn Heights Nursing Home in Inver Grove Heights, Minn.
Shirley was born Nov. 30, 1934, in Gladstone, Mich., the daughter of Johannis and Hazel (Neff) Johnson. She was raised in Gladstone where she attended the Flat Rock School.
Shirley was united in marriage to Homer J. Drossard on April 21, 1961. They made their home in St. Paul, Minn., where they raised their children. Shirley enjoyed shopping, especially shopping in the Thrift Shops. She treasured spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Homer, survivors include: children, Kathleen (Haywood) Webb of St. Paul, Minn., Pamela (Alfred) Lanaville of Green Bay, Wis., Homer (Julie) Drossard Jr. of Rockford, Minn., Heather (Tony) Vo-Drossard of Cottage Grove, Minn.; brother, John Pond of Michigan; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, her son, Leroy Willis, and brother, Stanley Johnson, also preceded Shirley in death.
Shirley's family will receive friends on Saturday, May 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Shirley M. Drossard will follow on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone with Rev. Fr. Ronald Timock officiating. Luncheon will follow in the All Saints Parish Hall. Burial will be in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
