Members of the Floriano-Stecker American Legion Post 340 of Hermansville lined up prior to participating at the Memorial Day services held at the Riverside Cemetery in Faithorn and the Meyer Township Cemetery in Hermansville in 1954. The photo was taken as the men were lined up alongside the Hermansville Community Club where the American Legion Clubrooms were located. Kneeling from left front were: Walter Bellmore, Reno Fochesato, Lester Johnson, George Maule, Clifford Gustafson, Ernest Dani, Milton Laurin and Frank Rodman; standing, Edward Faccio, Anthony Ayotte, Frank Urick, Omar Normand, Leo T. Doran, and Jack Kleimola. Kleimola was the main speaker at both cemeteries. Anyone with an interesting old photograph of local interest may submit it for publication. Although care will be taken with the historical item, the newspaper cannot guarantee its safety or return. It is recommended that a commercial copy of the print be made (not a photocopy).
