National Nursing Home Week, which begins on Mother's Day, May 13, and ends May 19, is a special week to "Celebrate the Journey" of residents who live in nursing care facilities and to honor them with a shower of community support. This year's theme of "Celebrating the Journey" is a perfect backdrop for a visit to loved ones, friends, and neighbors as they continue to write new chapters in the annals of their lives' journey.
This special week reminds us that every life should be honored and lived to the fullest, irrespective of age, infirmity or disability. Christian Park Village will be honoring our residents and the Staff who care for them with a week full of fun and laughter. Please take a minute to call, visit, write, or send flowers to a friend or loved one residing in a nursing home during this week! This special attention will make someone's day.
