Food drive bags were donated

May 15, 2012
Daily Press

EDITOR:

Just to set the record straight the bags supplied to postal patrons for the Food Drive on May 12 are not supplied by the post office. Locally they were supplied by Kohl's and Johnson Controls.

This is the 20th year that the National Association of Letter Carriers along with the Post Office and its other partners have been collecting food for those in need. There is also no tax payer money used for the food drive

I would suggest that the writer get his facts right before jumping to conclusions.

Daniel L. Florkowski,

president

Michigan State Association of Letter Carriers
