The City of Escanaba continued an annual tradition Friday, celebrating National Arbor Day by inviting local Scouts to plant trees in Ludington Park. Above, Annika Simons, 6, of Troop 5242 of Soo Hill, and her mother, Colleen, dig a hole to plant a red maple tree. The American Transmission Company made a donation that helped make this event possible. For more photos from the ceremony, see cu.dailypress.net. For a related video, visit dailypress.net.
