Inez I. Wolfgram

ESCANABA - Inez I. Wolfgram, 94, of 1401 North 23rd. St. in Escanaba, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Christian Park Village in Escanaba.

She was born Jan. 24, 1918, in Escanaba and was the daughter of Frederick and Anna (Payette) Fallmer. Inez grew up in the Gross area and attended Escanaba schools. The former Inez Fallmer married David A. Wolfgram on Aug. 30, 1941. in Chicago and he preceded her in death on April 20, 1971. Inez was employed as a waitress at the Dells Super Club in Escanaba for 29 years until her retirement in 1976. She was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid at church, and Bay Sages. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, bowling, playing dart ball and dancing. Inez loved her family and enjoyed baking and decorating cookies for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Inez I Wolfgram is survived by: daughter, Sharon (Jim) Pinar of Gladstone; three grandchildren, Jeffrey (Charlotte) Greenlund of Zeeland, Mich., Tracy Greenlund (Greg Zekoff) of Phoenix, Ariz., Pamela (Timothy) Cavadeas; five great-grandchildren, Matt, Mike and Mikayla Greenlund and Paige and Cooper Cavadeas; six sisters, Linella Rouse of Escanaba, Lorraine Cassidy of Chicago, Marcella Platt of Marquette, Germain Deno of Escanaba, Arlene LaCasse of Wells and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers Byron and Glen Fallmer and sisters Armona Fallmer, Myra Wilson, Fern Berro and Marian Steele.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2012, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Inez I. Wolfgram will be held at noon Monday at the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Rev. Paul Doletzky officiating. A luncheon will be served following the funeral services in the church fellowship hall. Burial will take place in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
