ESCANABA - Lee Robitaille and the former Janice Robinette were united in holy matrimony 40 years ago on March 4, 1972, at Sacred Heart Church in Schaffer.
Standing with the couple were Laurie (Fraddo) Berg, a friend of the bride, and Ken Robitaille, brother of the groom. Bridesmaids were Luanne (Robinette) Knauf and Cheryl (Robinette) Pach, both sisters of the bride. Groomsmen were Jerry Robitaille, brother of the groom, and Rick Kutchenberg, a friend of the groom.
Lee is retired from Riverside Chrysler Auto Sales, while Janice is currently employed as a receptionist at Wickert Floral.

The couple are members of St. Anne's Church in Escanaba, Escanaba Country Club, and the Escanaba Fan Club.
The Robitailles are the parents of two children; a daughter, Rachelle (Mike) DeLaney of Andover, Kan., and son, Mark (Melissa) Robitaille of Escanaba; along with two grandchildren, Alea and Krystle DeLaney.
To celebrate their anniversary, Lee and Janice are planning a two-week vacation trip to Kansas this month to visit their daughter and her family.
