leaders course
FORT BENNING, Ga. - 2LT Bradley Becker graduated from the Infantry Basic Officer Leaders Course on Feb. 16 at Fort Benning, Ga.

The 16-week course teaches young officers the skills they will need to lead a platoon of soldiers once they reach their duty station or are deployed to a war zone.
Becker now enters Ranger training, also at Fort Benning, to be followed by Airborne training. Upon completion of his training at Fort Benning, he will be assigned to the 1st Calvary Division at Fort Hood, Texas.
The officer is the son of Kenneth and Elizabeth (Smith) Becker and grandson of George and Donna Becker and Robert and Janet Smith, all former Gladstone residents.
