February 13, 2012
Daily Press

GLADSTONE - Holy Family Church in Flat Rock has been awarded a $2,138 Legacy of Faith Grant from the Catholic Diocese of Marquette. The grant will be used for purchasing the Magnifikid magazine for each family in the Faith Formation Program.

This project provides each student and parent with a copy of the magazine. Each weekly issue offers all the readings and the prayers of the Sunday Mass for each weekend of the year with explanations of the difficult words and the meaning of the rituals.

The aim is to help children and their parents to have a better understanding and participation in the Mass.
