Way - Berube

ESCANABA - Louis Paul Berube and Beth Nicole Way exchanged wedding vows Oct. 8 during a noon Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wells. The nuptials were celebrated by Rev. Rick Courier.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Bark River Senior Center.

Brittany Bougie, a friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were: Sheila Krueger and Miranda VanEffen, both friends of the bride; Tina Berube, sister of the groom; and Kim Nelson, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Chloe Caswell, a niece of the groom.

The groom's friend, John LaLonde, stood as best man. Groomsmen were, Brian Way, brother of the bride, and Bob Gravelle, Shane Larson, and Kurt Hirn, all friends of the groom. Junior groomsmen was Trevor Berube, son of the groom.

Seating the wedding guests were Jason Caszatt and Kevin Peterson, both friends of the groom.

The daughter of Michael and Sally Way of Wells, Beth is employed at Bay de Noc Community College.

Louis is the son of Louis (Kay) Berube of Cornell, and Bonnie Berube of Escanaba. He is employed at NewPage.

The couple honeymooned in Cabo San, Mexico. They have made their home in Escanaba.
