ESCANABA - Erika Ann Moody of Escanaba and Marc David Walker of Cedar Springs, Mich., were united in marriage Sept. 10 in Sheridan, Mich., during a 4 p.m. ceremony officiated by Rev. Darin Kelsey of Berean Baptist Church, Escanaba, and Rev. Kevin Crowell at Beth Haven Baptist Church, Sheridan, Mich.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in honor of the couple in the church reception hall.
Maid of honor was Janelle Goodreau, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Becky Sarauer and Kim Parks, friends of the bride; Holly Walker and Denise Ruwersma, sisters of the groom. Flower girl was Madilyn Ruwersma, niece of the groom.

Best man was Paul Ruwersma, brother-in-law of the groom. Groomsmen were Jeremy Austin and Jeff Vandenburg, friends of the groom; Michael Moody, brother of the bride; and Kevin Walker, brother of the groom. Ring bearer was Levi Ruwersma, nephew of the groom.
Seating guests for the ceremony were Tom Green and Mike Hodgkiss, friends of the bride and groom.
Daughter of Richard and Ruth Moody of Escanaba, the new bride is a 1999 graduate of Escanaba High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Maranatha Baptist College in 2003, her master's degree in pharmacology from Tulane University in 2006 and her master's of Physicians Assistant degree from Central Michigan University in 2010. Erika is working as a Hospitalist PA at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Son of Dennis and Sue Walker of Cedar Springs, Marc is a 1995 graduate of Cedar Springs High School and a 1999 graduate of Ferris State University with a bachelor's degree in construction management. Marc has been a heavy equipment operator for Millbocker and Sons Inc. of Allegan, Mich., for the past 12 years.
The newlyweds have made their home in Grand Rapids and are planning a delayed honeymoon to Aruba in January.
