BARK RIVER - Casey Lynn Otradovec and Matthew Edward Ball were united in holy matrimony at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Bark River on Aug. 20. Rev. Mark A. McQuesten presided over the 1 p.m. nuptials.
Kayla Belanger, the bride's cousin, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amber Klooster, Amy Bronkema, and Jill Ritzema, all friends of the bride. Flower girls were Katelyn Starnes, cousin of the bride, and Alyssa dela Cruz, niece of the groom.
The groom's friend, Tom Maynard, stood as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Ball, brother of the groom; Kenny Knauf, friend of the bride; and Eric Pollard, friend of the groom.

Seating the wedding guests were Joshua Belanger and Nicole Better, cousins of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Donna Otradovec of Wilson. Casey graduated from Bark River-Harris High School in 2005 and went on to receive a master's degree from Grand Valley State University. She is employed by War Memorial Hospital as an occupational therapist.
Matthew is the son of Judy (Ronald) Ball of Vulcan, and is a 2003 graduate of Norway High School. He received an associate's degree in 2005 from Northern Michigan University. He is employed at GFS.
A reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Island Resort and Casino. The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Italy.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Ball have made their home in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.
