ERIE, Penn. - Nicole Marie Lofquist and Dr. Bo Michael Rowan exchanged wedding vows June 25 during a noon mass at St Anthony's Church in Wells. The nuptials were celebrated by Fr. Rick Courier. Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Terrace Bay Inn.
The bride selected her sister, Tracy Maskart to serve as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included: Liza Soubel and Renee Lofquist, sisters of the bride; and Carolyn Hoy, friend of the bride. The flower girl was Claire Maskart, niece of the bride.
The groom selected his brother, Philip Rowan as best man. Groomsmen were: Nicholas Rowan and Daniel Rowan, brothers of the groom; and Jason Lofquist, brother of the bride.

Ushers included Brian Garavaglia and John Connolly, friends of the groom.
The bride selected her friends Traci Busick, Rachelle DeVos, and Jennifer Makosky as readers.
Nicole is the daughter of Tom and Christine Lofquist of Escanaba and is a 2001 graduate of Escanaba High School and a 2007 graduate of Northern Michigan University. Nicole graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing and is employed as a registered nurse in Quality Management at Marquette General Hospital.
The son of Dennis and Christine Rowan of Lapeer, Mich., Bo is a 1999 graduate of Lapeer West Senior High School and a 2003 Northern Michigan University graduate with a bachelor's degree in biology. Bo graduated from Nova Southeastern University as a doctor of osteopathic medicine in 2008. He is currently completing a fellowship in osteopathic manual medicine at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pa.
The couple have made their home in Erie and are planning a delayed honeymoon to Jamaica.
