GWINN - A wedding uniting Katie Marie Miron and Jeremy Curtis Nyquist in holy matrimony took place at Gladstone's Holy Family Parish on June 25. Rev. Jose Maramattam officiated over the 6:30 p.m. nuptials.
A reception in honor of the newlyweds followed in the Father Matt Hall, located in the downstairs of the church.
The bride's sister, Ashley Wagner, served as maid of honor, while Jessica Nyquist, the groom's sister, was a bridesmaid. Flower girls were Hallie and Cassie Miron, nieces of the bride.

Best man was Jake Nyquist, brother of the groom. Andrew Miron, brother of the bride, served as groomsman. Patton Nyquist, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.
Katie is the daughter of John and Renee Miron of Cornell, and granddaughter of Gerald and Jean Miron, and Beverly and the late Gerald Plourde, all of Cornell. A 2004 graduate of Gladstone High School, Katie graduated in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in business management from Northern Michigan University. She is employed at Superior Iron Range Credit Union in Negaunee as an ACH coordinator.
Jeremy graduated from Gladstone High School in 2002 and from Michigan Technological University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He is employed at Cliffs Natural Resources. The son of Curt and Bonnie Nyquist of Gladstone, Jeremy's grandparents are William and Betty Nyquist of Gladstone and Edwin and Dorothy Bergquist of Escanaba.
The couple is making their home in Gwinn.
