ESCANABA - Jim and Pat Bugay recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 12 with a Mass at St. Anne's Church, con-celebrated by Rev. Fran DeGroot and Msgr. Michael Steber, along with a special marriage Blessing.
An evening dinner/dance, hosted by the couple's children, was held at the Danforth Place in honor of their parents.
The former Pat Lindstrom became the bride of Jim Bugay during an Aug. 12, 1961, ceremony held at St. Joseph's Church in Escanaba.

Attendants were Nancy (LeBeau) Viau and Pat (Rodman) Stock, friends of the couple; Barbara (Bugay) Barlas, sister of the groom; Ken Viau and Lawrence (Butch) Knauf, friends of the couple; and Ralph Bugay, cousin of the groom.
The couple are the parents of three children - Steve Bugay of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Dave (Ana) Bugay of Lewis Center, Ohio, and Chris (Dave) Wilson of Escanaba.
They also have eight grandchildren, Nicole and Michael Bugay; Justin, Jared and Jada Bugay; and Katie, Angie and Maddie Wilson.
