RAPID RIVER - Heidi Lynn Spriks and James Michael Parsons, both of Rapid River, announce their engagement to wed.
Heidi is the daughter of James and Katherine Spriks of Rapid River and is a 1999 graduate of Rapid River High School. She is employed as a secretary and cabinet designer at Roy Ness Contracting & Sales, Inc., in Escanaba.
The son of Timothy and Marylou Parsons, Platteville, Wis., Jim attended Victor J. Andrew High School in Orland Hills, Ill., and is employed at Bosk Corporation in Escanaba as a painter and sand blaster. He is also a member of the Painter's Union Local 1011 in Escanaba.
