ESCANABA - Ronald and Cathy (Swed) Provo celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug 5. Their children celebrated with them on the Fourth of July weekend in Iowa.
The Provos are the parents of five children: Cathy Hopkins of New London, Iowa; Ronnie Provo of Novi, Mich.; Laurie Hill of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; John Provo of Granbury, Texas; and Liz Schwandt of Danville, Iowa. They also have 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
