Passengers at the Delta County Airport in Escanaba board a Delta Airlines 50-passenger CRJ-200 jet this morning. The flight, which had 42 passengers booked, is the first jet flight departing from Escanaba to Detroit. The Delta County Airport will now have an evening jet flight coming in from Iron Mountain and a morning flight departing to Detroit daily. The 34-passenger 340 turboprop airliner will continue to be used for afternoon flights.
