PORATH - Paul and Jessica Porath of Bark River welcomed their first child, a daughter, on May 12 at 11:03 a.m. Delivered at OSF St. Francis Hospital, the infant weighed 7 pounds, .02 ounces, and was 20 inches long. She has been named Lillianna Marie Porath.

Her mother is the former Jessica Lippens.

Bruce and Sue Lippens of Escanaba and Allen and Nancy Porath of Bark River are her grandparents.


TROTTIER - Henry and Mickey (DeMars) Trottier of Escanaba welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on May 26 at 12:55 a.m. at Dickinson County Hospital. Henry Joseph III weighed 10 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 22 inches long.

Henry joins his big sister Evelyn at home.

Cathy and the late Tom DeMars, and Henry and Caroline Trottier, all of Escanaba are the baby's grandparents.

Jackie DeMars of Escanaba and John Trottier of Iron River are the great-grandparents.


RIVARD - Dickinson County Memorial Hospital was the birth place for a baby boy born to Cornell residents, Jim and Michelle (Edgar) Rivard. Delivered at 12 p.m. on May 17, Augustine Edward Rivard weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 19 3/4 inches long.

He joins seven brothers, Ben, Tyler, Nick, Mike, Dave, John, Joe, and one sister, Jamie, at home.

Cookie and Jim Gascon of Escanaba, Martin Edgar of Richmond, Va., and Edward and Alice Rivard of Hartford, Wis., are baby Augustine's grandparents.

His great-grandmother is Geneva Willford of Gladwin, Mich.
