ESCANABA - George P. Briere and Merissa Blowers are planning a July 29 wedding in Marquette at Presque Isle. A reception will follow at the Landmark Inn in Marquette.
The son of George L. Briere and Mary Briere of Schaffer and Christine Jackson of Escanaba, the future groom is a 1989 graduate of Escanaba Area High School and is self-employed.
The daughter of Calvin and Merilee Blowers of Manistique, the bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Manistique High School and is currently employed as a cosmetologist at Cost Cutters in Escanaba.
