BARK RIVER - Ashley Briggs and Andy Zambon are planning a July 30 wedding in Escanaba at the Salvation Army. A reception will follow at the Island Resort & Casino.
The daughter of Joe and Cherie Briggs of Bark River, the bride-to-be is attending Northern Michigan University. Ashley is pursuing a degree in elementary special education, with plans to graduate in December.
The future groom is the son of Eugene and Ginger Zambon of Pensacola, Fla. Employed as a service manager at Bald Eagle Harley Davidson in Marquette, Andy is pursing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Northern.
