ESCANABA - Amber Marie Nolde and Gerald (Jay) Joseph Hays, together with their parents, announce their engagement to be married.
The daughter of Joe and Debbie Nolde of Escanaba, the future bride is a 2004 graduate of Escanaba High School and a 2009 graduate of Northern Michigan University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Amber is an employee of the Delta County YMCA where she is lead Kindercare teacher.
Jay is the son of Gerald and Diane Hays of Escanaba and is a 2003 graduate of Escanaba High School. He is employed with A-1 Water where he is an underground sprinkler installer/supervisor.
