Widow’s donation to benefit recovering war veterans

GLADSTONE - When Fay Nelson's husband died 10 months ago on March 20, 2010, from Parkinson's Disease, she wondered what she would do with the brand-new hospital bed the couple had received for his use. Rather than sell it, she decided to donate it to a good cause - Wilwin Lodge, a respite facility for returning war veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.
