Casperson, McBroom take oath

December 30, 2010
Daily Press

State Rep. Ed McBroom, and State Sen. Tom Casperson were sworn in Wednesday by Delta County Clerk Nancy Kolich.

The ceremonial oaths of office were administered to Casperson and McBroom at the residence of Dr. and Mrs. Scott Randall, 800 Lake Shore Drive, Escanaba.

According to a news release, the purpose of the local ceremony was to provide district residents an opportunity to witness the oaths, because Lansing is so distant to Michigan's largest senate district.
