DICKSON, Tenn. - Karen Krause and Timothy Hughes announce their engagement to be married.
The future bride is the daughter of Floyd and Virginia Krause of Escanaba.
Her fiance is the son of Joel and Teresa Hughes of Lyles, Tenn., and the late Patricia May Hughes of Pikeville, Ky. Timothy is employed at Defender Services.

The couple is planning a Jan. 8 wedding ceremony at Montgomery Bell State Park Chapel in Burns, Tenn.
They plan to make their home together in Dickson, Tenn.
