NEW LONDON, Wis. - Kristi Johnson and Jay Lodewegen exchanged wedding vows May 15 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London, Wis. Father David Lewis presided over the 1 p.m. nuptials. In honor of the couple, a reception followed at the Crystal Falls Banquet Hall.
Maid of honor was Kailie Johnson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Julie Thompson and Beth Schreiter, friends of the couple, and friends of the bride Karen Luckow, Ericka Kiehnau and Shannon Nell.
Standing as best man for his friend was Jeff Smith. Groomsmen were Dave Jueds, Casey Beyersdorf, Kavit Beyersdorf, John Van Allen Jr., and Justin Hintz, all friends of the groom.

Terry Lodewegen, brother of the groom, and Connor Lodewegen, nephew of the groom, seated the wedding guests.
A 1997 graduate of Escanaba Area High School, Kristi graduated from St. Norbert College in 2001 and is employed as a credit analyst/quality control analyst at First State Bank. She is the daughter of Randy and Kathy Johnson of Escanaba.
Jay is a 1998 graduate of Marion High School and a 2001 graduate of North Central Technical College. The son of Ken and Sharon Lodewegen of Marion, Wis., Jay is employed as a fabricator/welder at Seagrave Fire Apparatus.
The newlyweds are planning a delayed honeymoon and have made their home in New London, Wis.
