GWINN - Allan and Alice Wakkuri of Gwinn celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Up North Lodge in Gwinn.
Allan and the former Alice Lane exchanged wedding vows on Sept. 22, 1950, in Little Lake. Attending the couple were Phyllis (Lane) Thurston and Kenneth Gauthier.
Allan and Alice are the parents of three sons - Steve and Tim, both of Gwinn, and Gene of Richmond, Va.
The couple also has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The Wakkuris are at home in Gwinn.
