HOUGHTON - Emily Gauthier, daughter of Bill and Sharon Gauthier of Houghton, and Ed Knoch, son of Henry and Mary Knoch of Gladstone, announce their engagement.
Emily is scheduled to graduate from Finlandia University in May 2011 with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
Also expected to graduate, Ed will be awarded dual bachelor's degrees in mechanical and bio-mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University in December 2010.
The wedding ceremony will take place on Aug. 13, 2011, at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Houghton.
