CARNEY - Amanda-Jo Marie Poupore and Jaime Paul Kleikamp announce their engagement.
The engaged couple are the children Timothy Poupore and Pauline Poupore of Carney, and Gerald and RayJeannia Kleikamp of Wilson.
Amanda-Jo is a 2006 graduate of Carney-Nadeau Public School. She received a bachelor's degree in nursing in May from Northern Michigan University, and is employed as a registered nurse at Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba.

A 2001 graduate of Bark River-Harris High School, Jaime received an associate's degree in water resource management from Bay College in 2006. He is employed as a log truck and equipment operator for Triest Forest Products of Powers.
The couple is planning a May 14, 2011, wedding.
