"The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" is a fun, modern musical that takes place in the gymnasium of a middle school. Six contestants, and perhaps more from the audience, compete for the title and the chance to move on to Nationals. The play has hilarious songs and touching ballads. In addition, its wacky, and sometimes irreverent humor, is constantly coming out of the mouths of the crazy characters on stage. This play is appropriate for ages 12 and up.
Ticket prices this year remain the same as the past two seasons. Tickets for the public are $8 each, students are $6 with ID. There is a small online convenience charge if you purchase and print your tickets at home.
More than 45 students are involved onstage and backstage for this show.
