Dollhopfs celebrate 60th anniversary

GLADSTONE - Ralph Dollhopf and the former JoAnne Puckett were united in marriage 60 years ago on Sept. 9, 1950, at Presbyterian Manse in Newberry. Rev. R.A. Garrison officiate at the ceremony.

Original attendants were Nina Stephens and Edwin Rudolph, friends of the couple.

The couple's children are hosting an anniversary dinner at home of their son, Karl (Julie) Dollhopf in Escanaba.

Ralph retired from the Michigan Department of Transportation, is a Mason and member of the American Legion.

JoAnne is employed with the Gladstone Area Schools at James T. Jones Elementary School. She enjoys gardening in her spare time, as well as caring for her family.

The couple are members of Trinity Episcopal Church in Gladstone.

The Dollhopfs are the parents of seven children, Ralph (Karla Horne) Dollhopf, Amy (Russell W.) Hall, Marianne (Alan) Rezigh, Joseph (Carol) Dollhopf, Karl (Julie) Dollhopf, Peter Dollhopf, and Paul (Kathy) Dollhopf.

The also have nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
