Lentz - Seymour

RAPID RIVER - Shirley (Lentz) and Marcel "Red" Seymour were married 50 years ago Aug. 13, 1960, at St. Rita's Parish, Trenary. Original attendants were Donald Seymour, brother of the groom, and Donna (Germain) Seymour, sister-in-law of the groom.

An anniversary reception, hosted by the couple's children, was held July 12 at the home of their daughter, Amy Richmond, in Trenary.

Marcel owned Hub Truck Stop in Trenary from 1962-1975 and owned and retired Seymour Forest Product's. His hobbies include farming, making hay for his brother, watching the History channel, and reading.

Shirley is retired. She worked at the Village Pub in Chatam as a cook, Elmer's County Market in the deli, and worked and owned Hub Truck Stop in Trenary with her husband. She enjoys knitting, baking, and spending time with her children.

The couple has four children, Marci (Michael) Taskey of Traunk, Amy (Brett) Richmond of Trenary, and Paul (Steven Delany) Seymour and Paula Seymour, both of Dallas, Texas; and two grandchildren, Joshua and Brittney Richmond.

The couple is at home in Rapid River.
