Chenier - Julien

GLADSTONE - Patrick Dale Julien married the former Gloria Chenier 50 years ago July 2, 1960, at Holy Family Church in Flat Rock. A reception followed at the Flat Rock Township Hall.

Matron of honor was Beverly Chenier (Mac Gillis-Miller), sister of the bride, and bridesmaid was Judy Chenier, sister of the bride.

Best man was Larry Malerich, friend of the groom, and groomsman was Andre Julien, brother of the groom.

Dale retired from the Delta County Road Commission in 2000 and Gloria retired from Besse Forest Products in 2005.

Dale stays active by golfing and doing Wii Fit. Gloria enjoys gardening, cooking, organizing and cleaning. They both enjoy traveling.

In celebration of 50 years together the couple along with their five children and spouses and 11 grandchildren spent a week together at a lodge in the U.P.

The Juliens are the parents of Kevin (Mary) Julien of Escanaba, Darin (Wendy) Julien of Wooster, Ohio, Moreen (Phil) Weaver of Bath, N.Y., Loreen (Dan) Stutzman of London, Ohio, Joleen (Mike) Albrecht of Gladstone, and the late Brien Julien, who passed away in 1983.

They also have eleven grandchildren - Christina and Kyle Weaver, Jared and Lucas Julien, Krystal and Sean Julien, Brien and Conner Stutzman, Nolan, Logan and Darren Albrecht.

The Juliens reside in Gladstone.
