IRON RIVER - Douglas and Nancy Thyberg of Iron River, Wis., along with Robert and Patricia LaFave of Escanaba, announce the engagement of their children, Megan Thyberg of Iron River to Matthew LaFave of Escanaba.
A senior at Northern Michigan University, Megan is majoring in elementary education.
Matthew recently graduated from NMU with an associate's degree in law enforcement.
