MANISTIQUE - Everett Matthew Wood and Melissa Sue Beaudre, both of Manistique, announce their engagement.
Everett is the son of Everett and Gail Wood of Manisituqe. A graduate of Manistique Area High School, he earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wis. Everett is employed at Matelski Lumber.
The daughter of Dean and Bernie Beaudre of Manistique, Melissa earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Michigan State University. She is a fourth- and fifth-grade teacher at St. Francis de Sales School in Manistique.
