GENESEO, Ill. - Scott Michael Thinglum and Misty Bree Martens, both of Geneseo, Ill., announce their engagement to be married.
Scott is the son of Gary and Karen Thinglum of Escanaba. A graduate of Escanaba Area High School, he earned a bachelor's degree in integrated supply management from Western Michigan University. Scott is presently employed at John Deere Cylinder Internal Platform in Moline, Ill.
The daughter of Larry and Terry Martens of Atkinson, Ill., Misty earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from Western Illinois University. She is employed at John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline, Ill.
