ESCANABA - Elizabeth Pearson and Brooks Bougie announce their wedding engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Kathy Pearson of Escanaba. A 1998 graduate of Escanaba Area High School, Elizabeth holds an associate's degree from Bay de Noc Community College. She is currently employed at Cedarhill Medical in Bark River as a medical assistant, and at the Buck Inn in Wells as a server.
The future groom is the son of Julie and the late Gary Bougie of Escanaba. A 2000 graduate of Escanaba Area High School, he holds a bachelor's degree in business adminstration from Lake Superior State University. Brooks is currently employed at Stewart Manufacturing in Hermansville as a safety coordinator.
