Mabel A. Hahn

WILSON - Mabel A. Hahn, 88, N14011 County Road 551, Wilson, (Jam Dam), passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2010, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers.

She was born in Wilson on Jan. 1, 1922, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Baurain) DePas. Mabel attended the Seventh-day Adventist School and the Highlandale Academy in Rockford, Wis. She was a lifelong resident of Gourley Township.

On Jan. 1, 1941, Mabel married Blase Hahn in Gladstone. He preceded her in death in 1989.

Mabel worked for Robinson Furniture as a seamstress.

Mabel enjoyed crocheting, knitting afghans, fishing and playing cards.

She was a member of the Wilson Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Among her survivors include her son, Dennis (Bonnie) Hahn of Wilson; three grandchildren, David, Bruce, and Stacey; great-grandchild, Cody; and sister, Irene Berger of Wilson.

Mabel was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Ellen Hahn.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 9, from 9 to 11 a.m. (CDT) at the Wilson Seventh-day Adventist Church with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. (CDT) with Pastor Paul Larsen officiating.

Burial will be in the Wilson Seventh-day Adventist Church Cemetery.

The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Hahn family with arrangements.
