GLADSTONE - Barbara Kirk and Jerome Couillard, both of Gladstone, announce their engagement to be married.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Carol Kidd of Escanaba and Mark Kidd (step-father) of Ford River. Barbara is a 1998 graduate of Escanaba Area High School and has been a C.N.A. for 13 years. Currently Barbara is attending Bay College to pursue a degree in the nursing field.
The groom-to-be is the son of the late Jerry and Viola Couillard of Escanaba. Jerome is retired from Bosk.

The couple has made plans for a Feb. 20 wedding ceremony to be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church.
Following the ceremony, a private gathering will be held in honor of the bride and groom.
A large reception will be held July 3 at Pioneer Trail Park.
