GLADSTONE - Nicole Ellen French of Escanaba and Mark Allen Harris of Perkins were united in marriage Oct. 24. The 2 p.m. ceremony was conducted by Pastor Scott Harmon at Central United Methodist Church. In honor of the couple, a reception was held at Chip-In Island Resort, following the ceremony.
Attending the bride were Ashley Nelson and Adrian Nichols. Bridesmaids were: Heather Heinz, sister of the bride; Ashley Harris, sister of the groom; Dez Bilgreen, step-sister of the groom, and Amanda Georgen, friend of the couple. Junior bridesmaid was Jenna Heinz, niece of the bride. Flowergirl was Lahna Castor, cousin of the bride.
Groomsmen were Eric Royer, Brad Verbrigghe, Auvergne Richmond and Tony McPhearson, all friends of the groom. Christian Frizzell, friend of the bride, served as ringbearer.
Mark and Nicole Harris
Nicole graduated from Escanaba Area High School in 2006. She is currently a homemaker.
Mark graduated from Mid Peninsula High School in 2005. He went on to earn an associate's degree from Northwestern Ohio College in 2007. He is employed by Ives Trucking.
Parents of the bride are Don and Mary French of Escanaba. Parents of the groom are Mark and Cathy Harris of Perkins, and Laura Pottala of Brampton.
The newlyweds, who have made their home in Gladstone, are making plans for a delayed honeymoon.
