IRON MOUNTAIN - Diane L. Berry, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.

Diane was born July 9, 1946, in Escanaba, the daughter of Lenore (Blake) Hall and the late Robert Hall.

She was a 1964 graduate of Escanaba High School who went on to attend Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo and Michigan Technological University in Houghton.

Diane married Myron H. Berry on March 13, 1982, in Gladstone, and they have resided in Iron Mountain since 1999.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kingsford and a member of the Relief Society at the church.

Diane enjoyed art and music, especially Georgia O'Keeffe, and loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Myron; two sons, Christopher Berry of Hawaii and Zachary Berry of Iron Mountain; daughter, Johanna (Justin) Butler of York, Penn.; mother, Lenore Hall of Gladstone; two brothers, James (Darlene) Hall and Roger (Diane) Hall, both of Gladstone; sister, Judy (Kim "Chief") Papineau of Escanaba; grandson, Dane Butler; and a niece, Angela Ketzner.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan. 28, from 4 to 6 p.m. CST at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.

The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. CST at the funeral home. Christy Theobald will officiate.

Burial will be in Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Escanaba.
