Labre - Blickham

ESCANABA - Jennifer Lynn Labre and Michael John Blickham were united in marriage Sept. 19 at Bethany Lutheran Church, Escanaba. Pastor Paul Mai presided over the 1 p.m. nuptials. A reception immediately followed at the Terrace Bay Inn.

Maid of honor was Ashley Erickson, and matron of honor was Charissa Soper, both friends of the bride. Bridesmaids were Dana Kralovetz and Ashley Rogers, friends of the bride, and Marcie McFarlane, the groom's sister.

Standing as best man for his brother was Brent Blickham. Groomsmen were Luke LaPlant and David Ott, friends of the couple; Cory Engebretson, friend of the groom; and Robert McFarlane, brother-in-law of the groom.

Serving as ushers were Steven Labre, brother of the bride, and Chad McNair, friend of the couple.

The daughter of Rodney and Kimberly Labre of Escanaba, Jennifer is a 2003 graduate of Escanaba Area High School. She is pursuing her bachelor's degree in business management with a marketing minor from Lake Superior State University. She is expected to graduate this month. She currently works in Menards wallcovering department.

The son of Sharon and the late James Blickham of Escanaba, Michael is a 1996 graduate of Gladstone Area High School. He acquired his bachelor's degree in business administration in 2001 from Lake Superior State University. He is employed as a manager at Menards in the plumbing department.

The newlyweds enjoyed a brief trip downstate after the wedding and are planning a tropical honeymoon at a later date. The new Mr. and Mrs. Michael Blickham are at home in Escanaba.
