ESCANABA - Jayme Lauscher and Eric Cannon were united in marriage during a 3 p.m. ceremony peformed Oct. 3 at Central United Methodist Church. Pastor Scott Harmon officiated, and a reception in honor of the couple was held immediately afterward at the Highland Golf Club.
Jessica Eugate, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: Danielle Penoza, Mari Anderson, Jill Leisner and Lisa Gartland, friends of the bride; Heidi Baldovski, cousin of the bride; and Chelsea Hutchison, sister of the groom.
Serving as best man for his brother was Brad Cannon. Groomsmen were: Randy and Josh Hutchison, the groom's brothers; Kurt Lauscher, brother of the bride; Jayson Ruhlman and Bryan Mitzel, friends of the groom; and Robert "Smiley" Roback, grandfather of the groom.

Riley Baldovski and Teegan VanTassell, both cousins of the bride, served as the ringbearer and flower girl respectively.
A 2004 graduate of Escanaba Area High School, Jayme received a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University. She is the daughter of Don and Kim Lauscher of Escanaba.
A 2002 graduate of Tecumseh High School, Eric received a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University and a master's degree from the University of Toledo. He is the son of Rae Lynn and Randy Hutchison of Tecumseh and Steve and Maria Cannon of Blissfield.
Following a honeymoon in Honolulu, Hawaill, the newlyweds have made their home in Plano, Texas.
