ESCANABA - The former Marnie Hansen and Bart Anderson were united in holy matrimony Sept. 4 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Escanaba. David Simmons presided over the 1:30 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at the Highland Golf Club.
Tammy Hansen, friend of the couple, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Theresa Martin, Lisa Pisha and Melanie Zaremba, friends of the couple; and Laurie Moberg and Melissa Sabourin, sisters of the groom.
Standing as best man for his brother was Matthew Anderson. Groomsmen were John and Mark Anderson, the groom's brothers, and Tom Lewis, Scott Lancour and Phil Miron, friends of the couple.

Ushers were Corey Hnilica, cousin of the groom, and Bob Gouin, friend of the couple.
Nora Moberg, niece of the groom, was flower girl.
A 1994 graduate of Escanaba Area High School, Marnie received a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Michigan State University in 1999. The daughter of Carol and Chris Hansen of Escanaba, the new Mrs. Anderson is employed as a full-time account manager at Engineered Machined Products and part time as a math instructor at Bay College.
A 1993 graduate of Escanaba Area High School, Bart joined the Navy after high school as an aviation machinist mate. The son of John and the late Sue Anderson of Escanaba, Bart is employed with the AT&T Construction Department as a customer service specialist.
Following a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the new Mr. and Mrs. Anderson are at home in Escanaba.
