Ward Johnsen pleads guilty to all four counts

Charges related to indecent exposure, accosting children

ESCANABA - A former Escanaba teacher - arrested on charges related to indecent exposure, accosting children, sexually explicit material, and using a computer to commit a crime - pleaded guilty to all four counts during his plea hearing in Delta County Circuit Court Thursday.

Ward Thomas Johnsen, 46, Escanaba, was charged in August on the four counts following an intensive four-month investigation that began after allegations were brought forward last spring.
