RAPID RIVER - Gladstone residents BreAnne Deneau and Greg Gendron were united in marriage June 6 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Rapid River. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Steve Gauger. The reception was held at the Stonington Community Hall.
Attending the bride were her sisters, Janna and Jillian Deneau, who served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids included the groom's sisters, Cindy Shepeck and Vicki Caron, sister-in-law Amy Gendron, and friends of the bride Becki Berryman and Jenelle Bruno.
Standing for the groom was his brother, Chris Gendron, who served as best man. Groomsmen were brothers-in-law of the groom Scott Shepeck and Donny Caron, along with Justin Bjork, Joe Larson, Justin Gustafson and Casey Goodman, all friends of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Sandy Deneau of Rapid River. She graduated from Rapid River High School in 1999 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University in graphic design and advertising in 2003. BreAnne then worked toward a bachelor's in biology at Northern Michigan University. She is currently enrolled in the nursing program at Bay de Noc Community College. BreAnne recently accepted a position as an LPN with Schoolcraft Medical Care Facility in Manistique.
The groom is the son of John and Mary Gendron of Gladstone. He graduated from Gladstone Area High School 1997. Greg attended Bay College until 1999 and then continued on to Ferris State University. There, he studied to become a survey technician until 2000, when he accepted a position as a survey tech at Davis Wanic Land Surveyors in Escanaba.
Following a honeymoon trip to Door County, the new Mr. and Mrs. Gendron are at home in Gladstone.
