AURORA, Wis. - Jennifer Curran and Brad Houle were married on Aug. 14, during a ceremony held at their home in Aurora, Wis. The bride's uncle, Rev. William Johnson of Chicago, Ill., presided over the nuptials. A reception followed at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.
The daughter of George and Debbie Curran of Niagara, Wis., Jennifer is a 1992 graduate of Niagara High School. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1997 and earned a master's degree in curriculum and instruction in 2003 from Chapman University in California. Jennifer is employed as a fourth-grade teacher at Niagara Public School. She also coaches junior varsity volleyball for the Niagara School District.
The son of Richard and Sheryl Houle of Escanaba, Brad is a 1993 graduate of Escanaba Area High School and a 1998 graduate of St. Norbert College. Houle graduated in May 2009 from a three-year executive program at the Wharton School - University of Pennsylvania, Johnson Graduate School of Management - Cornell University, and the Darden School - University of Virginia. Brad is the President and CEO of Forward Financial Credit Union - Niagara, Pembine and Marinette, Wis., and Iron Mountain.
